Midland Air Service Experts was excited to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. This is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this incredible event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial support for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has raised $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her father’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The sweet motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
