I am VERY VERY DISPLEASED with the office staff. Mistakes happen, but this issue was filled with them and, in my view, absolute inattention to detail. The first visit required Kevin to order a circuit board which had to be ordered. On Monday, May 22nd, I got a call that the board was in and the technician would be there that day between noon and 2:00. This was the first notice that I had of the appointment and they didn't even ask if that time was ok. I said that I would not be home during those hours and we agreed on a window of 4:00 to 6:00. When I got home about 3:45, I saw that I had missed three calls from Kevin around 12:30. He had come to my house, expecting to do the work, but no one informed him that the time was changed. He did come after 4:00 and found that the circuit board was not the problem but the motor needed to be replaced. He called in an order while he was at my house. I followed up the next day and was told that the motor could be installed on Wednesday between 2:00 and 4:00. Not having heard anything after 3:30, and recognizing that we were still in the "arrival window" I called to make sure that I was still on the list. The rep put me on hold for several minutes and came back saying that the technician woud come on Thursday between 10:00 and 2:00. She was very apologetic but never said exactly what the problem was. Reading between the lines, I suspect that my Wednesday appt. never made it to the schedule and they scrambled to find a time on Thursday. Of course I don't know that for a fact, but it seems plausible. Two technicians arrived today right at 10:00 am. It turned out that someone had gone too far back in the work history of this issue and ordered another circuit board rather than a motor. Someone did deliver a motor and I don't know how much this delayed the process, but, on top of everything else, it was very frustrating--even maddening. I'm sure it was even more so for the technicians. They were VERY polite and efficient and had to work for awhile to get things going after replacing the motor, but they stuck with it until everything was working. They finished around 1:45, so were here for close to four hours. I felt sorry for them but they seemed to take it in stride. I am answering Very Likely on the next question because my system is only three years old and I have a long-term contract. If there is another event like this one, I may reconsider."

It was obvious to me that it only needed a cassette replacement. After arguing with Brandon, I showed him that it was not a Delta faucet but a a pen, and the cassette was different than he was used to. They replaced it once, then the hot and cold was reversed. To correct that, they then broke the first replacement and had to install another new replacement. They also didnt wear booties in the house, and tracked in footprints. Overall Im glad that the work was done, but more care in troubleshooting and in the replacement work would have been appreciated."

Then he said since the house was so cool, we should call them back to recheck when it was warmer. 3 weeks later, outside unit stopped and all freon was gone. The technician came back and said a valve needed replace but tried to convince me my 12 year old system about in of life and salesman tried to sell me new system. I had a second company check my system and found someone had put loctite in bottom of cap where you connect your instruments on outside unit and the loctite was pushing against the valve when you tighten down the cap releasing the freon. Even with cap on freon was still leaking mainly due to all the loctite in bottom that kept you from tightening the cap down all the way. He also cut a hole in plenum to check coil and when he put a sheet of metal over the hole, he used to long of screws and one was left resting against the coil which would have punctured it with vibration over time."
