Also, there were two loose bolts, and I was charged over $100 to tighten them. THAT'S RIDICULOUS. And that's the Plus member price!! I will not be renewing my plan for this very reason. Getting overcharged and nickle and dimed when I'm a loyal customer is unnecessary. There are may no-pressure options out there."

The house was at 80 for about 30 min. before he reset the thermostat back to 72, which put a significant load on the heat pump to get the inside temperature back down to 72. We don't remember any previous fall tuneup heating the house heated up to either 80 or for that long before. To say the least it wasn't a very comfortable experience."

"1) Tech did nit have the correct humidifier pad with him-he had to go get one. You installed the humidifier in 10/18 - why didn't he have the right part with him? 2) Tech told us that we would have to pay to replace the humidifier solenoid - he did not know the the entire system was installed by your company less than one year ago - still under warranty. 3) I called your office and verified that the part should be under warranty. The individual on the phone then said "the technician should know this" Obviously he did not.She then asked in a dismissive tone "what do you want me to about it? go talk to the technician" 4) Tech overheated the system, when trying to check for CO, and it shut down.He did know why the system shutdown it took phone calls and at least 30 more minutes to get the system cool enough to restart. 5) While running the furnace the temp on the first floor hit 85 degrees (it was in the 90s outside). The tech was in the basement putting his tools away and cleaning up while the heat continued to blow into the house. He only stopped his tidying up and went upstairs to turn off the heat and turn on the AC when my wife went to the basement and told him to "turn the AC on!" 6) it took several hours and I am sure many $$ to lower the temperature in the house to the normal 72 degrees."

"This was a follow up to bring filters. My responses to this survey were from last week when a technician came out to change the filter. I was not here at home when the technician came out to change filter. My wife was, but my wife is also in a wheelchair so getting to the area where the unit is , is difficult for her so I dont believe she was able to see what was happening. I arrived home to find the floor covered in drywall and 3 screws laying on the ground where I could have stepped on them as the unit is located in the hallway going into the bathroom. My cats couldve also gotten ahold of them and possibly swallowed them. I also noticed that he had scraped the wall paper on the wall and some how bumped into the corner wall and broke the trim piece. Also when the unit was installed, there was a square piece of drywall that had 4 screw locations, 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom. The trim piece covered about an inch of the top of the unit, sort of a facade cover. The didnt replace the cover correctly. He put the drywall piece at the top above the unit and then drilled one screw into the trim at the ceiling line. The piece that used to sit flush with the wall, now sits on top of the unit and angled out about an inch or so. For all of this, i feel I am being very generous with the 3 rating. Overall, I am still pleased with Neil Harris but the technicians need to be a little more focused and professional on simple service "replace the filter" calls. This was the very 1st time they had been out since installing the unit so I didnt expect to have problems the very first time out. I hope it improves."

Yes, the units save us in utility bills, but what weve saved with the gas/electric company weve more than spent with you in repair costs, our time, inconvenience and unreliability of the units. A brief list: 1. Coolant leaked for first 4 yrs, replaced yearly by you all, but the unit had to stop cooling for us before we called 2. Ultimately thought you fixed the issue by replacing A coil 2 yrs ago, until coolant had to be replaced this year again another $400+ bill. 3. Humidifier you installed hasnt worked in 3 yrs. Your tech will fix it for...you guessed it...about $400 4. Zone system you designed and installed to solve the initial issues hasnt; front of house is still 85+ degrees in summer while back & lower level is like a meat locker. One of you techs told me, during a call, that is as good as itll get, so another $1500 wasted on that piece. See the pattern? All we wanted was a reliable system that kept our home comfortable in the summer and winter. What we got was a money pit of a system and a relationship with a company that values profits above keeping your word and delivering to your customer what they committed to delivering. By the way, our $413 bill this time was for a less than a dollar part that your tech that checked the system a month an a half prior either should have caught or broke themselves...yes we checked. Please contact us. Wed be happy to discuss how to resolve the issue & finally get us what we thought we had purchased, for a premium price, at the outset."

"During my second yearly, check out! Technician discovered that the A-coil had a leak. The tech informed me that Lennox had a recall on them. He got the unit to cool temporarily and that the coil would be replace at no cost except for the labor $1,200.00 two men 4 hours. The service was scheduled tech showed up (1), with not all the parts and tools required on truck. Tech made three maybe 4 trips to Home Depot for materials and tools. Unit installed and discovered that this unit also was leaking also. He offered to repair it; I declined and requested that another new unit needed to be installed. Nine (9) hours later he got the unit he brought to cool, it lasted about 4 days and I had to call for service Thursday evening, after some long and I think unnecessary conversation he came to the house and found the thermostat was bad installed a temporary cooling only thermostat, the unit quit cooling a day later. On Saturday after two weeks, the new unit was brought out and installed in a timely and professional manner without any issues (21/2) hours including a new replacement thermostat; Thank you Daniel #615 I anticipated I would hear from the management at the head office, but has not happened. I have been long-term customer with Neal Harris and am surprised no response. In October, I am to re-new my protection contract; I am questioning this"

"The technician noted that we had a drainage line that needed repair. I asked him how much it would cost. He thought for a moment and then I think about $100. I stated that amount seemed like a lot for what work was proposed. He then mentioned that there were set prices and he couldn't change the price much but that he could charge us about half the initial amount because we only needed about half of the amount of tubing. I was confused on why he stated there were set charges, but seemed uncertain about the initial charge and then offered a lower charge when questioned. I also mentioned that there was a problem with our duct work that made it difficult to take the filter out and put another filter in. He stated he would let someone at Neal Harris know but we haven't heard anything from Neal Harris about this."

Then he said I needed a new compressor. He said it might take a few days to get one. Then two guys came here that afternoon. They checked it out and said it was just that two wires were hooked up incorrectly! The A/C has been working ok since then."
