He was suppose to be here between 2 and 4 and he didn't call until almost 4:30. so his arrival was a little before 5:00. He did a good job with the 6' distance (corona virus) but at the end, he took his gloves off and handed me a pen and tablet that I had to touch. Up to then he was perfect."

While scavenging parts from old unit for use on its twinned sisters, it was discovered that trouble was caused by two screws that had rusted, swelled, and shattered the plastic transition between induction fan and heat exchanger. Still thinking through how one would create manometer taps to isolate that condition. parts (including heat exchanger) are available, if you want to observe condition. We are happy with the installation, and the education it afforded."

"Wasn't told how much lead time would be required for a winter tune-up when paying for the maintenance agreement in April. Called in November for furnace tune-up and first available was January 10. Furnace went out on Dec. 7, the day we left on a month-long vacation. Service "fixed" the problem for that day but upon our return the furnace was out again. Based on information from the Internet, the problem could be fixed by turning off the power which caused the pressure switch to reset. I did this a few times while waiting for the January 10 scheduled maintenance tune-up. Informed the technician of the problem and he again "fixed" it. Furnace failed a few more times but I turned off the power to get it running again so I could schedule a service time convenient for me. However, on January 23, the power trick no longer worked after several attempts so I was forced to make a service call. This time a service manager accompanied the technician and reported that my furnace has a known problem with the pressure switch. This was verified by blowing into the hose to reset the switch. A new switch was ordered and the technician came out to install it the very next day but unfortunately it was the wrong switch and he had to go back to get the correct switch. It has been over a week and our furnace is still working. However, we are very disappointed that it took three service calls to fix a known problem; we didn't have the furnace and humidifier working while we were on vacation, and had to pay for two service calls in addition to scheduled maintenance to fix one problem. It appears to us that your training program is lacking."

"First technician came to perform furnace check up under maintenance agreement. We were told that the humidifier was not "on" and that it wasn't connected to the thermostat which meant it had never been connected (new furnace installed June 2019). Per the technician, he could not get the humidifier to work because there was a broken piece in the black box (modem for thermostat - not sure of official name) and that a part would have to be ordered and replaced before the humidifier would work. The technician said that the part would be covered under warranty. I was frustrated because (1) how was it that the humidifier wasn't on and working when the furnace was installed (2) it shouldn't even be a question that it would be covered under warranty if it was broken during the installation, and (3) as a customer, I am not sure how we would've known what is working, what isn't working - I don't feel like we got a walk-through of the ins/outs of the new system except for using the thermostat - even setting up the app with a representative would've been helpful and/or a follow up for questions. After the first technician left, it was a bit chilly in the house so I went upstairs to the thermostat to check that the system was heating and that the system was on schedule to adjust to that time of day setting. The thermostat would not come on and stay on. The display screen was black. I tried turning on the thermostat but it said it was not connected and went black. I called the main number and the gal tried touching base with the technician but was not successful. She said they could send a technician out later or in the morning. Since the system was working fine (or so it appeared) before the technician arrived, I was frustrated that I didn't know if it was working or not because the thermostat would not come on. I told her it needed to be tonight because if the furnace wasn't working there would be no heat in the house. The 2nd technician arrived an hour or so later. He said he may or may not be able to fix it without the part tonight. However, everything the 1st technician had mentioned to me earlier was not what was actually happening. Apparently, the humidifier was hooked up but the wiring had been separated in the "black box." He's not sure exactly which wires were not connected all the way because he took all the wires off in the black box and reattached each of them. And the furnace and humidifier worked fine after he reattached all the wires. Thankful that the 2nd technician was able to get our furnace back up and running. A bit concerned/frustrated that the 1st technician had a totally different diagnosis that doesn't appear to be anything that was going on. Not sure if the 1st technician is fairly new to the group but it would seem that he needs to get some additional training on the furnace type that we have installed so he can correctly/efficiently perform maintenance on these furnaces instead of creating more time/work for other technicians and/or frustration/concerns with the customer."

"IF SOMEONE READS THIS, MY HOPE IS THERE WILL BE FOLLOW-UP-- After buying a new HVAC system, we heard loud noises on Friday night (12/27). We had no heat & found water leaking from vents in the basement. I called Saturday morning and was told a tech could come out, but they could not tell me when and stated there would be a charge for the service call. We got very little sleep Friday night & had to cancel plans for Saturday to wait for the tech. Edurdo said the ducts had not been installed correctly. He did what he could to remove the excess water that had leaked on the floor and back into our heating system. He could not make the repairs, but got the heat working and set up an appointment for Monday (12/30) to have all repairs completed. Chris came out on 12/30 & confirmed the installation was incorrectly done so repairs would have to be made at a later date by the installation techs. An appointment was set for January 7th with the repairs estimated to take 2-4 hours. Both techs were very nice, but neither one could make the needed repairs. Both could tell as soon as they looked at the ducts that they were not installed properly. This has required schedule changes for me twice and will take at least one more. This is very time consuming and inconvenient. I also have concerns about the water damage to our newly installed system. I will not share these experiences with others until Neal Harris has a chance to take action in responding to my concerns."

"Two technicians performed our yearly furnace tune up in the morning. All seemed fine, but after Josh left, the furnace wouldn't turn back on. Customer service sent him back, as soon as possible. I didn't get a 30 min window, so I had to have him leave before solving the problem to get my kids. He called in for another technician to return, as promised, and this technician arrived within the window. This tech tried several ways to trouble shoot the problem, including asking other techs, but when he couldn't, he called in his service manager. This tech was very polite and waited outside for his manager to arrive, which happened in 20 min, like he said. Together, this tech 2 and the service manager determined the gas wasn't being released at the right pressure, and made adjustments. They answered all our questions and were very professional. So, I'm very happy they were able to identify what went wrong, fix it, and assure me that it wouldn't happen again. However, the problem was a result of disturbing the valves/etc under the panel during cleaning/ diagnostics. Recommendation is to advise techs of this potential outcome to prevent it happening again."
