"Both technicians were more than competent, professional, and prompt. There is always room for improvement. That's not always about the individual technicians and customer service personnel. I look at the company as a whole. This is my first time using Neal Harris and I signed up for the Armor + , so we'll see how the year goes before I say I'm very likely to recommend Neal Harris. That's no reflection on the workers."

"The scheduling has been a nightmare. I made my appointment and the first one got cancelled, then they rescheduled it over a month later. I get a call the day of (again after making work arrangements to be home) and was told the same story that I was told the month before. Service tech is super busy with bigger jobs and cant get to me. Then offered to book me another 6 weeks later into mid June. I was told that rescheduling was fine because it was just a maintenance appointment. That was said multiple times..that it was just an appointment and not a big deal. When I asked why I needed to sign up and pay for them if it wasnt a big deal then she said that some third party and that they have over booked everyone. I kept my appointment and when the guy came out it took him minutes to service us when it is normally much longer."

"To start with, the technician, Andre, was awesome. I was very satisfied with his service and he was very professional and on time as "he" promised called 30 mins before his arrival. I had no problem with him. My issue was with your scheduler/customer service person. First, I originally scheduled my maintenance service on April 12 between 8-10. I scheduled this appointment by talking to the customer service and I was told on the morning of the 12th, the appt was not existed. Looks like the customer service that I talked originally did not set the appt in the system, so I had to call and found out on the day of. So I rescheduled the service on the 20th. I was okay with the first time since people makes mistakes. So on the 20th, my appt was between 10-12, I got a call from, Tina, your service representative. She said "You are scheduled between 10-12, but with our emergency, we need to reschedule you." there was no greeting, apology of my inconvenience or any term of explanation or anything. I asked her when I could reschedule, she said "May 12th. We are fully booked until then." It was a month away she wanted to reschedule me and her interaction with me was very short and cold and in the term of rude. I explained to her this was the 2nd time you try to reschedule me on your mistake/situation and I had to arrange things around 2nd time to be home. So I asked her "Do I have an option to not to reschedule on May 20 and I keep the service for today?" And she sighed and said "okay. Technician will be there after 12 today." and I asked if I could have a time frame so I don't have to be home for the whole afternoon. And Tina said "I don't know. I said we have an emergency and only thing I know is we will find a technician and he will give you a call in 30 mins before his arrival." I was trying to explain to her I had to know to arrange things around to be home in the afternoon since I had to arrange things for the morning already. She said my only option will be May 20th and she doesn't know. At that point, I was very disappointed with your service, first, she had no intention or willingness to work with me about the situation. It was more like she put only 2 options on the table and I need to take it or leave which either option don't work for me. How come I need to reschedule 2 times in a row for your company's schedule after it's confirmed on the day of?And her interaction with me was very short, cold and in a way of interrupting me explaining or asking questions "I already said so." I am not asking her or you a favor to come to look at my HVAC system. It's already prepaid advantage program you are promoting and I am requesting my service and it was reasonable and not treated fairly being changed schedule at the last minute without considering my part. I was happy with the technician but I was NOT satisfied with your customer service at all and I would not like to recommend you company to my friends or family. Customer service is the face of the company and they are the front line workers to work with the customer directly. I have been having very unpleasant experience multiple times, I am not satisfied. Hopefully, you could have some more training or program to develop customer relations skills among your employee, that would be great for the company and for the customer's benefits. Thank you"

"I bought a new HVAC system from Neal Harris in 2017. In 2020, from 2019 to 2020, less than 2 years later, the system leaked refirgerant (4#s) and I had to pay $400 to get more added. Then again this year it leaked the same amount and I had to pay $400 for more refrigerant and apparently a coil(?) is bad and leaking and I am being charged for the labor to repair this ($800-$1000). I bought a brand new system in 2017 specifically to avoid this. To have nearly $2k in repair work within 2-3 years of buying a brand new system is ridiculous."

"To be honest we think technician broke our system. On the date of the first visit he had to leave as he burnt himself with freon while attaching gauges. Our system worked fine until this event, and then it would not could that evening. When returned almost a week later, suspiciously, he returned with a Salesman, to offer us a new system. Since they have been here for the completion of our semi-annual routine service, our furnace will not even heat the home to 68 degrees in the morning from 65 degrees. All of this did not occur until our routine check up."

"Well this was an appointment that was supposed to happen last year. It was re-scheduled twice by Neil Harris. The technician was polite as always. Put his booties on, wore a mask etc... and performed the maintenance tasks that he was there for (presumably, as I cant verify if anything was done as Im not a technician) however, this appointment was around noon and he stated it was his last job of the day so he did not have any filters to replace the filters that were in the returns He told me that he put in an order and that a box of filters would be brought to us on Monday. I obtained 2 filters and replaced them myself. Its now almost 8pm on Monday and no filters have been delivered. We pay a lot of money for this ac/heater unit and have made on time payments for over 2 years. We do NOT feel as if Neil Harris is living up to their end of the contract. Neil Harris was great for quite a while, but the last several appointments have been disappointments."

"Technician completing the job did fine. My disdain for the service stems from years of failures, faults, problems, breakages, reschedules, issues, troubles, improper installations, and the like. 5 reschedules for this single "annual tune-up" alone. That's honestly just...pathetic. I'm not even so much "mad", I am simply disappointed in how deplorable the overall service has become. Most recently I was called back by a manager and apologized to for the reschedules and they picked a date/time that "wouldn't be an issue". Know what happened the day before that target date? Another reschedule. Going back to the first reschedule, it was because it was scheduled IN FEBRUARY WITH SNOW ON THE GROUND! The tech showed up at the door having been informed that it was an emergency and my heat didn't work - both of which were absolutely incorrect (and turned out to be a complete waste of both our time). To expand on "how likely I am to continue using NHSE as my provider"? Well I'm kind of stuck with a 10 year warranty, so getting out would be throwing MORE money away beyond what has already been tossed."

At that time, they also said there would be a $66 charge for checking the circuits. After they left, on Thursday afternoon I called Neil Harris to express my concern that I was led to believe there would be no charge - the woman I spoke to said she would check the invoice, and call me on Friday, but I received no call. I don't believe we should pay the $66."
