"We had a tune-up which resulted in a clog that leaked water all over the floor. Had to pay a service call fee to have this fixed when it should have been fixed during tune up. Also had to pay $112 to clear the drain and $50 for a new drain (which literally costs less than $5)."

"The technician addressed the problem, but our dissatisfaction is with our purchase 7 years ago and all of the issues weve had with our HVAC system during that time. Yes, the units save us in utility bills, but what weve saved with the gas/electric company weve more than spent with you in repair costs, our time, inconvenience and unreliability of the units. A brief list: 1. Coolant leaked for first 4 yrs, replaced yearly by you all, but the unit had to stop cooling for us before we called 2. Ultimately thought you fixed the issue by replacing A coil 2 yrs ago, until coolant had to be replaced this year again another $400+ bill. 3. Humidifier you installed hasnt worked in 3 yrs. Your tech will fix it for...you guessed it...about $400 4. Zone system you designed and installed to solve the initial issues hasnt; front of house is still 85+ degrees in summer while back & lower level is like a meat locker. One of you techs told me, during a call, that is as good as itll get, so another $1500 wasted on that piece. See the pattern? All we wanted was a reliable system that kept our home comfortable in the summer and winter. What we got was a money pit of a system and a relationship with a company that values profits above keeping your word and delivering to your customer what they committed to delivering. By the way, our $413 bill this time was for a less than a dollar part that your tech that checked the system a month an a half prior either should have caught or broke themselves...yes we checked. Please contact us. Wed be happy to discuss how to resolve the issue & finally get us what we thought we had purchased, for a premium price, at the outset."

"Still have the same problem. Bought the year maintenance plan but they did not clean the filter lining the A/C units. I had them check my unit in May and these guys came back back with all these problems and heavy on the upsale of a new ($12000) that I really do not need! Plus they did not do some of the service that was needed like replace the vent tubing. Very disappointed that they took up so much of my time trying to sell me a new system. I am stuck with the maintenance program for the year but not sure it is really worth it if they do not even clean or change filters!!!! Most likely will not recommend."

The problem I have is with the pricing for items like a new humidifier canister (75 from Amazon, 328 from you) and uv bulb (sales person quoted 200 when unit was purchased, but your guy wrote down 900 on quote). "During my second yearly, check out! Technician discovered that the A-coil had a leak. The tech informed me that Lennox had a recall on them. He got the unit to cool temporarily and that the coil would be replace at no cost except for the labor $1,200.00 two men 4 hours. The service was scheduled tech showed up (1), with not all the parts and tools required on truck. Tech made three maybe 4 trips to Home Depot for materials and tools. Unit installed and discovered that this unit also was leaking also. He offered to repair it; I declined and requested that another new unit needed to be installed. Nine (9) hours later he got the unit he brought to cool, it lasted about 4 days and I had to call for service Thursday evening, after some long and I think unnecessary conversation he came to the house and found the thermostat was bad installed a temporary cooling only thermostat, the unit quit cooling a day later. On Saturday after two weeks, the new unit was brought out and installed in a timely and professional manner without any issues (21/2) hours including a new replacement thermostat; Thank you Daniel #615 I anticipated I would hear from the management at the head office, but has not happened. I have been long-term customer with Neal Harris and am surprised no response. In October, I am to re-new my protection contract; I am questioning this"

"The technician noted that we had a drainage line that needed repair. I asked him how much it would cost. He thought for a moment and then I think about $100. I stated that amount seemed like a lot for what work was proposed. He then mentioned that there were set prices and he couldn't change the price much but that he could charge us about half the initial amount because we only needed about half of the amount of tubing. I was confused on why he stated there were set charges, but seemed uncertain about the initial charge and then offered a lower charge when questioned. I also mentioned that there was a problem with our duct work that made it difficult to take the filter out and put another filter in. He stated he would let someone at Neal Harris know but we haven't heard anything from Neal Harris about this."

"First of all, we had already had our system serviced and the guy knew it but he proceeded to service the system anyway. I'm not so upset about that part, as he didn't bother to put the cover on properly for the condensing unit and then an animal got inside and was hiding in there. My dog tore the cover apart to get to the chipmunk. So there was insulation all over the yard and water got inside on the electrical parts. Luckly, nothing was harmed but if I have to pay $125 dollars for some one to look at my appliance they should have put it back together properly. The other thing was the guy quoted my mom $18,000 dollars for a new unit and service plan. WTF! Really? What kind of service plan is that? Get out of here with that! I won't use you again."

"A technician (I think his name is Fred) came here to do a routine checkup of my A/C on 8-19-19. He told me everything was AOK! After he left, the house started getting hotter and hotter. I called Neal Harris and they sent Chris here that night. He said he fixed it, but it would cost me $176. I protested that and he was going to leave that issue to management. That night the house never cooled below 83 degrees Fahrenheit. I called Neal Harris in the morning on 8-20-19. Chris came back here. He spent about 1 1/2 hours outside working on the unit. Then he said I needed a new compressor. He said it might take a few days to get one. Then two guys came here that afternoon. They checked it out and said it was just that two wires were hooked up incorrectly! The A/C has been working ok since then."

"Daniel, the tech, was great. I'd like to be clear on that. He was friendly and capable. However, I was told at my previous service call that my thermostat was under warranty and i might as well replace it--since it would be no cost. So, i agreed. Turns out, I was charged $179.00. I would nevER have replaced the thermostat with this cost--the one they installed was fine. Also, I was not called before the tech arrived as promised. So, overall, not happy at all. I was misguided that the replacement thermostat would be no charge and someone would "swing by and install real quick" when i came in. I was encouraged to call in to office while Daniel was still here, but got a "nothing we can do" answer. ;("

I was called the day before my appointment and a message was left stating my window was 2:00-4:00, which would make it almost impossible to make my other plans. I called back to confirm my appointment time and was reassured it was still listed as 12:00-2:00. The technician arrived at my house at approximately 3:00 and I had to cancel my plans for later that day. It caused me some problems. I would be more satisfied if my time frame would have been kept at the original scheduled time."

Head tech was later than that and then got called away to deal with a probation issue. At that point I didn't feel comfortable leaving them in my house alone even though I was really getting sick from the heat. After calling Mitzi at 11:30 to tell her there was no work being done, she got Sean there. Mitzi and Sean seemed to be the only reliable people who punctual and efficient. After being a customer for 38 years, the one time, due to my illness, I really needed efficiency, it didn't happen. I ended up passing out from the heat and I am still feeling repercussions from it. Getting literally six satisfaction surveys from you is another example of some "tightening up" your organization needs."

He wrote on my ticket that it would cost $1000 to boost the level. I asked him what the gauges were reading, how many lbs low, and he could not answer. I am an Advanrage Plus customer that has always had routine maintenance. I contacted another hvac company who came out the next day and found the a coil to be fine but it was low on coolant. They suspect Jeffrey drained off coolant due to the fresh oily substance on the line. He showed my the evidence and added coolant. I would like a refund of my $84 and I want to drop my Advantage Plus. I would like a refund for the maintenance that has not yet been provided even though your techs have made 4 trips to my house in the past 3 months. I don't like to be lied to and if I do not hear a response I will turn to social media and express my warnings about your company."
